Daybreak is the time when you return to the world, after a time of solitude and introspection, and begin initiating activities that reflect and are aligned with your Soul Calling. 

Staying true to your purpose while navigating the world and its demands.

What is required of you in this time is to remain true to your purpose, while also navigating the world and its demands upon you, which may sometimes be in an oppositional relationship to the goals of your Soul Calling. To the degree you have a history of sacrificing your Soul and its Calling for the sake of others, you need to prove in this time that you can preserve your individuality and remain loyal to your Soul.


Skillfully navigating the world’s opposition to your manifesting your Soul Calling

In the Midnight Hour you have dealt with and overcome your internal opposition to your Soul Calling. At Daybreak, you need to face and overcome the opposition you are likely to encounter when you step into the world for the purpose of manifesting your Soul Calling. 

At first, when you are still a relatively young seedling, you can easily be crushed by negative external forces greater than yourself. Your goal in this period is to give yourself the time you need to grow strong, and avoid being pulled into things that might prevent that from happening. You must learn to anticipate the potential threats you might face, and act strategically such that you can defend yourself against such threats or avoid them completely. 

The tricky thing about this period is that you, on the one hand, need to engage yourself with society from the paradigm and purpose of your Soul Calling, but the society you are engaging may not understand or be tolerant of this paradigm and purpose. In terms of power, you are in this phase most likely in an inferior position. In such a situation too much attention at once is not necessarily a good thing, since it will bring with it a series of challenges that you may not be ready to face and deal with. For this reason it may be better for you to work at the edges of things, while you learn to master your craft and grow in strength and maturity. To succeed in this time you must let go of the approval of society and the outside world as a measure of your progress. 


Subversion through gift or consumption

Dealing with the outside world can also cause you to be subverted in less obvious ways. For example by seeking or accepting things you subjectively desire (for example money or social and professional approval), but which actually would put you into conflict with your Soul Calling. It is crucial that you maintain a position of independence from where you can continue to act true to your Soul Calling. You will undermine your own freedom, if you accept compensation, gifts, or privileges that come with expectations or entanglements that compromise your ability to carry out your Soul Calling. Ambition is a great trait, but ambitions that are detached from or lack loyalty to your Soul is likely to cause you trouble. 

Asceticism

To succeed in the time of Daybreak it is advised to adopt a basic ascetic and frugal attitude, which will allow you to participate in society, without creating ties to it that are hard to break if needed. Daybreak may come with lucrative opportunities that you should take full advantage of, but if you overspend or even go into debt, it can be hard to let go of the money when you need to move on.

The mentality you need to adopt and stick with in this time is that you are a servant of your Soul and its calling. As a servant of your Soul you must remain in a sacred relationship to your soul, which means reflecting and refracting the purpose and will of your Soul, and protecting yourself from other influences which prevent you from doing that.
